The Shopping Center Group Lands Leasing Assignment From RREEF

ATLANTA — RREEF, a global real estate investment advisor, names The Shopping Center Group as the exclusive, third-party leasing representative for a two million-square foot retail portfolio throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic. The portfolio includes a mix of neighborhood and community centers in Florida, Georgia, Virginia and the Carolinas. The agreement was finalized in November 2009.

“Our in-the-market and on-the ground leasing team provides the expertise to identify potential tenants that bring value both to RREEF’s retail portfolio and to the communities in which they are located,” explains Bob Wordes, operating partner, The Shopping Center Group.

The RREEF retail portfolio assigned to The Shopping Center Group, includes 10 retail centers ranging in size from 44,000 square feet to 420,000 square feet with an average occupancy rate of 94%.

The Shopping Center Group represents some of the most recognized names in retail real estate. Currently, the firm manages seven million square feet of retail property with exclusive leasing agreements for over 500 retail centers totaling over 50 million square feet throughout its Southeast and Mid-Atlantic footprint.
