Mid-America Signs Kidney Care Service Provider to Village Crossing on Chicago’s North Shore

NILES, IL – DaVita Inc., d.b.a. Total Renal Care recently signed a lease for 5,599 square feet at Village Crossing in Niles, Ill., according to Richard Spinell, Principal of Oakbrook Terrace-based Mid-America Asset Management, Inc., the center’s exclusive leasing representative. DaVita, a publicly held provider of kidney care services in the United States, plans to open the outpatient facility in September 2009. Mid-America Senior Leasing Representative Mary Beth Menelli represented the landlord in the lease, and Matthew Fetter of USI Real Estate Services, Inc., represented the tenant.

DaVita is a Fortune 500 company that provides dialysis services and education for patients with chronic kidney failure and end stage renal disease. The company manages more then 1,475 outpatient facilities and acute units in more than 700 hospitals located in 43 states and the District of Columbia.

Village Crossing is located at 5629 W. Touhy Avenue in Niles, Ill., a North Shore suburb of Chicago. The 273,516-square foot center is anchored by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Jewel/Osco and Pier 1 Imports.
